GOONJ - Techno Management Meet
The Techno Management Meet is an integral component of the Three-day Annual Fest GOONJ, held each year. Structured to offer students a platform to showcase their creative talents in literature, science, and technology, the fest serves as a catalyst for integrating academic and co-curricular activities. Moreover, it plays a significant role in shaping the personalities of participating students.
GOONJ - Cultural Meet
Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science organizes a diverse range of activities to harness the talent among its students, who take on managerial roles for these events. The Annual Cultural Meet, held on the third day of GOONJ, is a highlight, featuring renowned national artists who present a captivating musical festival. This event is cherished by guests, students, faculty, staff, and a packed audience.
Moreover, numerous other events are organized on the college campus throughout the year.
GOONJ - Sports Meet
Sports and athletics have been integral to Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science since its inception. In 2013, the institute took a significant step by organizing its first Inter-College Sports Meet, an event that has been celebrated with enthusiasm and spirit every year since. The festivities commence with the hoisting of the flag by esteemed guests, followed by the administration of the oath by the proctor, and the declaration of the meet open by the chief guest.
The Annual Sports Meet underscores the importance of active participation in sports and the role of athletes in upholding our nation’s identity. It highlights that sports teach not only the game itself but also excellence, perseverance, and essential human values.
Throughout the campus, various sports competitions culminate in a grand prize distribution ceremony during the Valedictory and Prize Distribution Functions.
Extra Curricular Activities
Induction Program
The purpose of an Induction Program is to prepare the students for their course of study and ensure a smooth transition into their college life. Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science organises a two weeks Induction Program for the incoming batch each year to motivate and welcome the students, so that they can enthusiastically look forward to this big and yet scary change in their lives with positivity. It is also to make them enter into their professional lives with confidence. The program includes basic english, maths, physics and computer sessions, Yoga and Zumba classes, Human Values and PDP sessions, Sports and Fun activities and Industrial Visit to a Nearby Industry.
- To enable students to familiarise themselves with the college environment.
- To enable students to develop a sense of identity within the college community.
- To provide a comprehensive explanation of the college’s health and safety requirements in case of emergencies, including evacuation procedure.
- To develop an awareness and understanding of the rights and responsibilities of both the staff and the students.
- To give and receive clear information about the various methods of learning and assessment procedures.
Freshers Party
Farewell Party
College Farewell parties are always an exciting affair and bring alive a lot of excitement and give many happy memories. Pre-final year students of all branches of Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science organise a Farewell Party to bid adieu to the outgoing students of each year.
The function starts by welcoming the final year students of all branches with Tilak ceremony and present roses as a token of love and forward blessings. The girl students are adorned in sarees, the boys complement them in formals. The event comprises of several dance and singing performances and to make the event more entertaining and engaging, a game of tongue twister is also played. The seniors share their experiences during their stay at Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science. The main attraction of the event has become the fashion show put up by the juniors that also gives them an opportunity to showcase their talent on the ramp. In which after three rounds, the judges declare the names of winners. The Honorable Management congratulates the winners and presents mementos and title sashes to the winners.
Finally, the event closes with presenting a gift and titles to each student of the outgoing batch as a token of love and blessings and wishing them bright careers and a happy life ahead. It is followed by a vote of thanks and having snacks and drinks together.
Convocation
The biggest function for any college is its Convocation Ceremony and the highest honors for any student or academician is to receive his/her degree in a grand ceremony.
Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science Ghaziabad prides itself on its broad based engagement of students in its various activities. The Convocation at Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science marks the culmination of student’s engagement with the college and serves as the starting point for their future journey ahead outside of studies and college life. The occasion celebrates the achievements of each student and recognizes the central goal of the college, namely student engagement, enlightenment and excellence. The event mirrors the college’s culture of caring for and inspiring its members to look forward with confidence and positivist. Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science through its students and through the Convocation serve to portray this feeling of oneness.
Holi Milan
Festivals are essential to the Indian culture, and we at Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science celebrate each with colour, laughter and happiness. Holi celebrations are held each year wherein students and staff participate together in this colourful event. While we believe in celebrating naturally with flowers and dry colours, but there is enough excitement with the availability of chaat, thandai, dhol, music, dance and fun.
Diwali Milan
Diwali is celebrated at Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science to appreciate good over evil and various ways to celebrate the festival are done. A fete (mela) is organised where students setup stalls for fun games, food and Diwali gift items. Also various competitions such as candle making, rangoli making, diva decoration, etc. are held.
Teachers Day
Teachers are our gurus for life, mentors that guide us and help us find ourselves. Hence we celebrate this day with much gusto and aplomb, with a cultural programme conceptualised and presented by students that includes dancing, singing and poetry. This day marks the students thanking their teachers for being a parent like figure to them, by presenting them with flowers and small gifts. They also perform skits and drama based performance on any relevant classroom based theme.
For the teachers there are games organised to have fun outside of the classrooms for once, ranging from pass the parcel to sort the rice.
Engineers Day
Yoga and Zumba
We believe that health is wealth, and the more natural the better, so what better an exercise than our age-old legacy of yoga. We at Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science hold a yoga session each year in the morning on International Yoga Day, beginning with breathing exercises, stretching and then asanas. The yoga session is followed by a healthy and nutritious breakfast of fresh fruits, sprouts and fresh fruit juices. This encourages students to take up a healthy lifestyle for their own well being.

The BNAT is not complacent on its success but continually ameliorating and carrying forward this pious gigantic mission. BNAT shall leave no stone unturned to make this philanthropic and most exhilarating task in breadth and width of the whole country reaching every nook and corner covering more and more untapped populace to create awareness and the make available the opportunities to those who are hard to come across them.
BNAT refers to and stands for ‘BHAGWATI NATIONAL APTITUDE TEST’ which aims at sieving and pureeing the potential strata from amongst the high school and intermediate pass outs who are found capable of pursuing their technical and professional education in the field of Science, Commerce, Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science etc.) besides, undergoing a selection process and finally selected, the students are groomed, motivated, trained and maneuvered with enhancing their dexterity and skill to withstand the rigors of the technical education.
BNAT has been designed, formulated and textured by “BHAGWATI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE”, situated at Masuri Canal, Hapur Road, Ghaziabad. The Institute is established at outskirts of Industrial city of Ghaziabad on National Highway 24, at a meager distance of 30 kms from Delhi well connected by Moradabad- Lucknow bound long route buses besides local transport.
BNAT is conducted at select centers in the months of October to January every year with particular emphasis on down trodden, depressed, neglected and hard to reach interiors such as UP, Bihar, Assam, J&K etc., as a preparation for next session post students intermediate results. This process results, on one hand, into an introspection giving impetus to the students to improve and prepare themselves to make through the competition in the times to come to follow the suit with all vigor and enthusiasm and on the other hand select the potential candidates who would come out to be successful professionals distinct from the crowd thus raising the standard of education in this one of the most important field of engineering and management.
All the participants are given certificates and the others cracking the ice get rewards and prizes along with certificates to commemorate their path of success.
